The Electronics New England and BIOMEDevice tradeshow held in Boston was reasonably well-attended, especially the first day. Those who took advantage of the Spring weather and got out of the office for the day seemed to enjoy the broad array of vendors, new products, and innovative technologies.
Some may feel “tradeshows are a dying art.” Those who stopped to talk with us at Winco ID’s booth found having the face-to-face time to discuss their own unique challenges and meet the demands of their business to remain competitive was well worth their time.
We had a lot of interesting conversations with customers and potential customers during the two days. One common theme was that people are looking to get better control of their inventory and work in process – we can certainly help with this utilizing our RFID and barcode solutions.
We also spoke with a number of people looking to protect their brands from counterfeits. Again barcodes and RFID can be part of solutions in this area.
