Next week, starting August 10th, is our first in-person tradeshow since the start of the Covid era.
Our Labeling & Coding brands will be exhibiting, along with other ProMach business lines, at Westpack in Anaheim, CA.
We’ve been busy for the last few weeks getting everything ready and our exhibits should be delivered to the Convention Center anytime now.
We’d love for our team to meet you at booth 5239 and here is what you can expect to see:
When it comes to print/apply labeling, ID Technology (along with Panther), leads the market.
At Westpack, you’ll see our revolutionary new 258 system, designed to increase throughput, while simultaneously reducing downtime and improving barcode print quality.
Sounds too good to be true? Come and see for yourself!
We’ll also be showing our PowerMerge system, installed on our Allen-Bradly powered 255 printer-applicator.
The 258, PowerMerge, and both the Panther machines are all-electric – no plant air is needed.
Other ID Technology solutions at the show will include:
Citronix CIJ inkjet printers
Macsa laser coders
ClearMark TIJ thermal inkjet printers
Also, ID Technology is one of the largest suppliers of both printed and blank pressure-sensitive labels with seven production plants in North America.
At Westpack, we are showing two labeling systems from Panther.
The Predator is a full-featured servo tamp machine, ideal for printing and applying a label to the top of varying size packages.
Extensively used in logistics, such as in distribution centers and warehouses, Predator is fast and simple to use and maintain – you’ll find these machines operating in the highest volume operations.
Shadow is the entry-level of Panther’s all-electric print/apply labeling systems.
Using a servo-tamp applicator, similar to Predator, it is designed to integrate with an industrial table-top thermal printer.
Shadow is very competitively priced, but still a very capable system for many applications.
See info on the complete range of Panther labeling systems here: Panther Labeling Systems
EPI specializes in pressure-sensitive labeling systems and we are showing our new M2 label applicator at Westpack.
The M2 is a compact, high-performance labeling head that as well as being a great product in its own right, is also used as a key component in our other EPI labeling systems.
Greydon printers are mainly used for printing on flexible packaging, often horizontal form-fill-seal machines.
At Westpack the Greydon exhibit consists of:
Genesis – our digital printing system, designed for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
Genesis can print the variable data, such as date/lot codes, compliance logos, and UDI barcodes, right onto your packaging material.
In addition, it can be configured to print your complete package – in glorious full color, removing the need to buy and manage inventories of pre-printed materials.
We are also showing our traversing thermal transfer printer – like Genesis, designed to print multiple packs across the film on your packaging machine.
The thermal transfer is often used in medical applications and is also available in rugged versions for protein or other food operations.
Do you need to add variable print to your products?
Code Tech’s thermal transfer printers are incredibly versatile and are to be found operating in many industries, from protein, produce, medical, pharma, building materials, and many more.
Simple to set up and use, with practically zero maintenance Code Tech printers are often the perfect replacement for aging maintenance-intensive legacy printers.
Available in many configurations, with inks for both porous and non-porous substrates, CodeTech printers are a disruptive force in the packaging industry.
