In this example, the customer needed to be able to apply a corner wrap label, printed with the correct GS1 barcodes, to shipping cases that varied in size and could be presented to the labeler randomly.

The Shuttleworth system ensures that the cases are accurately positioned on the conveyor and spaced as needed for the labels to be applied.

ProMach supplied a pair of ID Technology 252N corner wrap labelers and a Shuttleworth product handing system. The Shuttleworth system ensures gentle handling of the products and the labelers use ID Technology’s zero-downtime option to keep things moving and improve the line’s OEE.
