New FoxJet eSeries Printheads

The Trident-powered ProSeries printers from our partner, FoxJet, have long been regarded as the best solution for printing onto corrugated cases – whether barcodes, graphics or text.

We are therefore pleased to be able to introduce the new eSeries FoxJet printers, that take performance to the next level. If you were to take all that’s good about the current ProSeries and make it faster, provide better print quality and improve barcodes, the result would be the new 768e and 384e.

As before there are two versions of the printhead, the 384e can print up to 2 inches wide and the 768e prints up to four inches wide. Both printheads are compatible with FoxJet lineup of controllers. The new printers are every bit as rugged as their predecessors.

The biggest issues facing the designers of high-resolution inkjet printers are producing high-quality barcodes at the high conveyor speeds that are needed today. The eSeries heads address this by producing GS1 compliant barcodes that are darker and have better-defined edges at conveyor speeds of up to 200 feet per minute; faster if just text is needed.
