No, not these saloon doors:
Our LSI by ID Technology Model 1200 Saloon Door labeling system is designed to apply a label to a round or rectangular using a “saloon door” type applicator.
The two side of the door are actually pivoting vacuum pads, one mounted on either side of the conveyor.
The label is fed onto the pads and when the container arrives, it passes between them, taking the label with it. See how the concept works in this video:

The saloon door idea works really well on plastic or metal pails (the pail can be oriented relative to the handle to ensure the label is in the correct position) or for applying a three-panel label to F-style bottles as shown in the video.
The Model 1200 uses our Series 40 labeling head that can apply large labels, up to seven inches high.
Like all LSI by ID Technology labeling systems, the Model 1200 is robustly built to give many years of good service and is easy to maintain and operate. Our labeling systems are designed and build here in the US at our facilities in Oakland, NJ and Fort Worth, TX.
The Model 1200 is just one of our extensive line-up of labeling systems – we have standard or custom solutions for just about every labeling job.
