Teklynx Software – Windows XP

Are you using Teklynx label software on Windows XP computers?

With Microsoft ending support for XP, many organizations are in the process of upgrading their systems to Windows 7 or 8.

Of course, when you update the OS on your computers, the programs you use often need to be updated as well. You might be wondering if your Teklynx software will be compatible with new versions of Windows and the helpful Teklynx folks have provided that information:

LABEL MATRIX 8.6 or newer
LABELVIEW 8.6 or newer
CODESOFT 8.6 or newer 

If you are using software activation with your Teklynx software, it is important that you deactivate the existing license before updating to the new version of Windows. Here’s a short video that shows how:

Note that if you have a current subscription plan or SMA (Software Maintenance Agreement) with Teklynx, you can upgrade to the latest 2014 version at no charge. Otherwise you’ll have to full the full version if your current install is older than Version 2012.
