Pantone Colour of 2013 – Emerald

If you are in the printing or graphics business, you’ll have used Pantone’s products – probably the little colour chips used to try and visually match colours.

Well, each year the company has a Color of the Year and for 2013 it is Emerald, or 17-5641 in the Pantone numbering system.

I have to say, I’m not a fan – I much prefer some of the colours from other years:

My favorite of the bunch is 2007’s Chilli Pepper. What about you?
