Zebra IQ Color Labels

It isn’t everyday that something comes along that makes me think “Wow that’s clever!”

So I was really pleased to see a YouTube video from the Zebra folks showing off their new IQ Color idea.

IQ Color is a direct thermal system where different parts of the label can be set up to print in different colors when passed through a thermal printer – yes really!

I haven’t seen any pricing or availability yet – these will obviously be custom produced for specific jobs – or what the procedure to obtain the labels would be. I’m very interested though, so you can be assured I’ll find out.

While I have no idea just how practical IQ Color will prove to be, it is the coolest labeling idea I’ve seen for ages. Nice job Big Z!!
