Nepcon East – Success!

Winco ID was busy for the two-day event, Nepcon East! The show was well-attended by a variety of companies and people interested in ways to improve their manufacturing processes, especially for electronics manufacturers.

We did promise “If label or barcode issues are keeping you awake at night, there’s an excellent chance we will be able to help!” and it proved right. We met with start-up companies, large defense companies, new products, growing businesses – all with one thing in common. They need to label or identify something.

Those with low volume or limited budgets were happy to learn about Winco ID’s label printing service. Whether you need just one or many more, we help you decide if having your labels printed makes sense for you. It may be that it’s just for a time, or until the volume picks up and the investment in hardware and software is more cost-effective.

The Datamax M-Class RFID and the new Siemens LDP Verifier for UID labeling made a debut at Nepcon. Those who came by our booth were given a hands-on demonstration. It is a perfect solution for some who find they need to comply with MIL-STD-130 and UID labeling.

Those who are familiar with the challenges of placing those small labels on PCB or other component pieces, found the benefits and simplicity of the automatic print and apply equipment to be a good solution. With many models and functionality to choose from, we will be working with several companies to find just the right fit for their applications and budgets.
